David L.

David L. has worked in the software development industry for over 8 years. In 2020, they began working as a Senior Software Developer at Scope AR. Prior to that, they were an Intermediate Programmer at Serious Labs Inc. from 2018 to 2020 where they developed VR training simulators for a variety of heavy machinery. From 2017 to 2018, they were a Contract Software Consultant at Voronoi Health Analytics Inc. where they converted an existing MATLAB prototype of research-grade code for CT-scan segmentation into a product sold to researchers, developed python-based automated build and test infrastructure, and created a paradigm for testing and release engineering. From 2012 to 2017, they were a Software Consultant at Dell EMC where they contributed to both architecture and development for the storage-virtualization product VPLEX.

David L. attended the University of Alberta from 2003 to 2007, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science. David then returned to the University of Alberta from 2007 to 2011, where they completed a Master of Science degree in Computer Science.
