David Cryer is currently the Chair of Trustees for Swindon Food Collective and an Independent Committee Member for Scope, while also serving as a Vice-Chair of Trustees for Homeless Oxfordshire and a Partner at Cotswold Rare Books. Previously, they held senior roles in retail management, notably as Assistant Director (Retail) at Shelter UK and Head of Retail at Helen & Douglas House. David was instrumental in devising a successful retail strategy that contributed to Helen & Douglas House becoming the fastest-growing charity shop chain in the UK. Additionally, they served on various boards, including the Charity Retail Association, and provided guest lectures on retail at the University of Surrey.
