Sofie van Rijn

Sofie van Rijn has a diverse background in education and policy, having worked as a Bestuursassistent to the Mayor at Gemeente Delft from 2005 to 2007 and as a Rijkstrainee at the Ministry of Justice and Security from 2003 to 2005. They served as a Senior Policy Advisor in Youth and Education at Gemeente Amsterdam from 2007 to 2013, and later held the position of Senior Coordinating Policy Officer in Primary Education at the Ministry of Education, Culture, and Science from 2013 to 2015. Currently, Sofie is the Head of Education and Quality Services at SCOPE scholengroep, while also leading a team in Education and Quality at PROOLeiden since 2015. They continue their education with studies at Ashram College and have completed various training courses, including in innovation at Hogeschool Leiden and Psychology at Tilburg University.
