Archie Zhao

Archie Zhao has extensive work experience in the field of information security and resilience. Archie is currently the Head of Information Security and Resilience at Scope (Aust) since December 2023. Prior to that, Archie worked as a Cyber and Information Security Manager at Scope (Aust) from November 2021 to December 2023. Before joining Scope (Aust), they were the Information System Security Manager at L'Oréal from May 2019 to October 2021. In this role, they were responsible for overseeing IT security management and governance in the ANZ region. Archie also worked at AIA from June 2012 to May 2019, where they held the position of Senior Technology Security & Risk Officer. Their responsibilities in this role included technology security management and governance, technology security architecture, and vendor management. Prior to AIA, Archie worked as an IT Security Consultant - CISSP at Unisys from December 2006 to February 2012.

Archie Zhao completed their Bachelor of Engineering in Electric Engineering from Dalian Maritime University between 1998 and 2002. Archie later pursued a Master's degree in Telecommunications Engineering from RMIT University from 2004 to 2006.
