John Knight is currently the Director, Counsel for Product & Privacy at Scopely, a position they have held since 2025. Previously, they were Senior Counsel at Riot Games from 2020 to 2025 and worked as an Associate at Covington & Burling LLP from 2019 to 2020, focusing on technology transactions and corporate law. John gained diverse legal experience through roles including a Legal Assistant at Isaacman, Kaufman & Painter, and various internships, including at the U.S. Department of Justice and the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. They earned a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from Columbia Law School in 2016 and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of California, Los Angeles in 2012.
