Manuel Aparicio

Manuel Aparicio is an accomplished animation professional with extensive experience in the industry. Currently serving as Lead Animator at Scopely since November 2022, Manuel has taken on the role of Principal Animator and heads animation for new game development. Prior to this, Manuel was the Animation Director at Brazen Animation from November 2020 to June 2022. Experience also includes serving as Director and Animation Director at Vintata Animation Studio from January 2018 to May 2020, and as Animation Director at Huhu Studios from October 2016 to January 2018, contributing to the feature film "Mosley." Earlier in the career, Manuel worked as a Senior Character Animator at Walt Disney Animation Studios, contributing to iconic films such as "Moana" and "Zootopia." Moreover, Manuel was a Senior Character Animator at DreamWorks Animation for over 14 years, working on notable films including the "Kung Fu Panda" trilogy, "Dragons 2," and "Shrek 4." Manuel holds a degree from the California Institute of the Arts, completed between 1997 and 1999.
