Massimo Maietti

Massimo Maietti is an accomplished professional in the gaming industry, currently serving as General Manager of Monopoly GO! and President of Games at Scopely since August 2016. Prior to this role, Maietti held the position of Creative Director at Zynga from January 2011 to July 2016, and co-founded Outer Space One and 1bit garden while also serving as their Creative Director. Previous experience includes roles as Game Designer at Climax and Milestone s.r.l., and Editor at Nintendo of Europe. Maietti has contributed to academia through lectures on game design and digital culture at prestigious institutions and has authored articles for prominent video game magazines. Maietti's educational background includes an MA in Interactive Media from Goldsmiths, University of London, and a BA in Media and Communication from Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna.
