Starting as Lead Community Manager at Smogon from 2009 to 2012, Michael enhanced user engagement through a revamped tutoring program and contributed as lead editor for a webzine. Subsequently, Michael held key roles at PlayStation as Partnerships & Activations Manager, where brand activations supported major product launches, and advanced to Senior Director of Product at Niantic, Inc., leading the global strategy for Pokémon GO.
