Roger Bocksnick

Principal Gameplay Engineer

Roger Bocksnick is a seasoned gameplay engineer with significant experience in the gaming industry. Currently serving as Principal Gameplay Engineer at Scopely since February 2025, Roger previously held various roles at Electronic Arts (EA) from June 2008 to August 2014, including Lead Software Engineer for titles such as Dungeon Keeper, Wrath of Heroes, and Star Wars: The Old Republic. Roger also worked as a Senior Software Engineer on Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes and began the career as a Software Engineer Intern on Dark Age of Camelot. In addition, Roger was a Senior Director of Software Engineering at Glu Mobile, where a new studio was established, leading to the creation of Disney Sorcerer's Arena, which was later acquired by EA in 2021. Most recently, Roger served as Senior Gameplay Programmer at Bethesda Game Studios from May 2022 to January 2025. Educationally, Roger earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Daniel Webster College in 2008.
