Shannon Posniewski is a seasoned technology leader with extensive experience in game development and software engineering. Currently serving as Sr. Technical Director at Scopely since February 2023, Shannon previously founded Cold Iron Studios in November 2015, acting as CTO and establishing the technical direction while managing engineering teams. Prior roles include Principal and Lead Programmer at Cryptic Studios, where Shannon developed web connections for games, as well as Director of Game Programming and Executive Producer, contributing significantly to the reboot of City of Heroes. Shannon's earlier experience includes managerial and engineering positions at Broadcom, Stellar Semiconductor, MapInfo, and Image Systems Technology. Shannon holds a degree from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, earned between 1986 and 1990.
