Spencer Chang

Associate Data Engineer

Spencer Chang is an Associate Data Engineer at Scopely since June 2022, having previously served as a Software Engineering Contractor and an intern as a feature software engineer for Boundless Studios. Spencer has experience as a Technical Artist on the USC Games project Bugnauts!, creating particle effects, and as a Game Engineer for Blindsight: War of the Wardens, managing the combat system. Additional experience includes serving as a Course Producer for CSCI170 at the USC Viterbi School of Engineering, where responsibilities included conducting weekly office hours and proofreading course materials. Spencer's early work as a Game Programmer at Wondersea Studio involved coding gameplay mechanics using Unity and participating in development meetings. Academic qualifications include a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Southern California.
