Taylor John is an accomplished game designer with extensive experience in developing engaging gaming experiences across various companies. Currently serving as the Director of Game Design for Monopoly Go at Scopely since October 2023, Taylor previously held the position of SVP Head of Game Design & Behavioral Economics at Truist, where leadership in the Long Game app and consumer-facing platform design drove significant KPIs. Prior roles include Head of Game Design at Long Game and significant contributions at Zynga, where Taylor was instrumental in the design of popular games such as FarmVille and Cityville. Early career experience spans positions at Electronic Arts and Maxis Studios, contributing to iconic titles like The Sims and skate. Taylor holds a Master’s degree in Entertainment Technology from Carnegie Mellon University and a Bachelor’s degree in English from the University of California, Berkeley.
