Kate Barari

Kate Barari has worked in the software industry since 2010. Kate began their career at Est Computer as a Software Engineer, Test Lead, and QA Engineer. In 2011, they joined Scopic Software as a Senior Software Project Manager, Software Test Manager, and QA Manager (part time). In their roles at Est Computer, Kate was responsible for product development, bug fixing, enhancements, and managing a team of 2 developers in Moldova. As Test Lead, they defined the scope of testing, deployed and managed the appropriate testing framework, and planned and deployed the testing effort. As QA Engineer, they defined, developed, and implemented quality assurance practices, test plans, and other QA assessments. As QA Manager at Scopic Software, Kate was responsible for planning, monitoring, and controlling testing activities and tasks, estimating the testing to be done, and negotiating with management to acquire the necessary resources.

Kate Barari studied at Liviu Deleanu from 1996 to 2005, obtaining a Gymnasium degree in Language and Communication. Kate then attended Informatics College of Moldova from 2005 to 2009, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Informatics. Finally, they attended Technical University of Moldova from 2009 to 2014, studying Information Technologies. In 2018, they also obtained a certification in Jmeter from Scratch - (Performance + Load) Testing from Udemy.
