Aline Bassez

Aline Bassez has extensive experience in risk management, currently serving as a Risk Manager for Natural Catastrophe Risks and Credit Risk at SCOR since October 2001. Key responsibilities include monitoring bank exposures through improved methodologies and automated reporting using SAS, as well as managing accumulation and retrocession Natural Catastrophe models. Aline has contributed significantly to the development of tools for computing natural catastrophe exposures and enhancing data quality, while also overseeing the validation and control of modelling results. Previously, Aline worked as a SAS Project Manager at Business & Decision, leading a major project in developing a reserving tool for reinsurers. Aline holds a post-graduate degree in Econometrics and Quantitative Economics from the University of Paris I: Panthéon-Sorbonne.
