Eimear Smith

Eimear Smith has extensive experience in underwriting, with a current position as Head of Underwriting at SCOR since September 2018, after progressing through roles such as Technical Underwriting Manager and Senior Technical Underwriting Consultant. Prior experience includes positions at Munich Re (Group) as Senior Underwriter and at Friends First as Senior Underwriting Specialist. Eimear also held the role of State Underwriting and Operations Manager at AIA while working as a Senior Underwriter during tenure at BT Financial Group and Aviva Ireland. Eimear holds a Master's degree in Business Administration with a focus on Project Management from Edith Cowan University, a Diploma in Life and Disability Underwriting from the CII, and a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics from University College Dublin.
