🎬 2D animated shorts
We create experimental, visually intriguing 2D animated shorts that push creative boundaries and are exciting to make and watch.

🤝 Opportunities for junior talent
Scorched Animation is a collaborative, part-time studio where emerging artists gain real production-pipeline experience, contribute to complete projects, and build strong, portfolio-ready work alongside other creatives.

🤖 AI policy
No generative AI. Our films are shaped by human ideas, instincts, and collaboration – work with soul. As part of this ethos, we do not use generative AI and ask anyone joining the studio to refrain from using it.

💰 A transparent note on compensation
We’re in the very early stages and are not yet able to offer paid roles. Everyone involved (including the founder) contributes voluntarily and part-time, choosing how much time they can commit. We’re actively exploring funding, with the goal of compensating artists per project and moving toward paid roles as the studio grows.

What we offer
- Hands-on experience within a real 2D animation production pipeline
- Finished work for portfolios and CVs
- References
- A supportive and collaborative environment

📈 Founder support & career development
Our founder has 3 years of HR experience in and out of the games industry. As part of being involved in our creative projects, artists are offered guidance on CVs, portfolios, applications, and interview preparation to help them take practical steps toward breaking into the industry.

🔮 Looking ahead
As the studio grows, we aim to involve experienced industry professionals to mentor artists, provide feedback, and share industry insight while working on original films.
