Burt Simpson

Burt Simpson has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Burt currently works as the Director of Development Operations at Scorpion, where they focus on developing CI/CD pipelines and deployment pipelines to Kubernetes targets. Prior to this, they were a Senior Architect and Senior Microsoft Database Architect at NBCUniversal, Inc., where they conducted solution reviews, implemented Office 365 and Microsoft Teams collaboration solutions, and worked with SQL instances. Before that, Burt worked as a System Administrator at Crescent Solutions, where they were responsible for Microsoft System Center Orchestrator Runbook creation and setup of web application servers and SQL servers. Burt also worked as a Senior System Administrator at Stamps.com, where they developed hardware and documentation standards for MS SQL HA clusters and maintained SQL HA Clusters. Burt's earlier experience includes being a System Administrator at Diskeeper Corporation, where they installed and configured Microsoft Windows Servers, and a Sustaining Support Engineer at Compaq Computer Corporation, where they provided troubleshooting and resolution for technical and service issues. Burt began their career as a Field Technical Sales and Service Consultant at The Next Level, where they provided pre-sales and post-sales support, and installed and troubleshooted business class applications and operating systems.

Burt Simpson attended Houston Community College from 1994 to 1996, where they studied mathematics. Burt did not earn a degree during this time.
