Markus Rufer is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in the aerospace and manufacturing sectors. Currently serving as President and CEO of Scorpius Space Launch Company since September 2004, Markus Rufer has been instrumental in establishing manufacturing capabilities for space launch systems and aerospace components. Prior to this role, Markus Rufer held positions as Vice President of Manufacturing at Aura Systems Inc., where responsibilities included building a plant for mobile power generation systems, and as Director of Operations at BAT International, overseeing an all-electric vehicle assembly plant. Additional experience includes serving as Vice President of Manufacturing at Vector Aeromotive Corporation, where Markus Rufer contributed to the production of the Vector W8 Supercar, and as Program Director at OC Oerlikon, directing an overseas anti-aircraft systems program. Markus Rufer holds an MS in Automotive Technology from the Swiss University of Applied Sciences and an MBA in Business Management from Almeda University.
