Oliver Rippel

Oliver Rippel has a diverse work experience, starting in 2014 as a Student Research Assistant at Life & Brain GmbH. In 2016, they worked as a Student Research Assistant at Fraunhofer-Institut für Produktionstechnologie IPT, where they developed a modular framework for integrating a liquid handling robot into an automated laboratory. From 2017 to 2022, Oliver was a Research Scientist at the Institute of Imaging & Computer Vision, RWTH Aachen University. Currently, in 2022, they hold the role of Head of Machine Learning at Scortex.

Oliver Rippel earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Molecular Biomedicine from The University of Bonn from 2012 to 2015. Oliver then pursued a Master of Science degree in Biomedical Engineering at RWTH Aachen University from 2015 to 2017. Currently, they are working towards a Ph.D. in Engineering at RWTH Aachen University, specializing in the field of Ingenieurwissenschaften, and is expected to complete their degree in 2022.
