Kevin Lu

Kevin Lu has worked in the engineering and technology fields since 2009. Kevin began their career as a Playground Supervisor at the Los Angeles Unified School District in 2009. In 2011, they moved to AJP Distributor as an E-commerce Lister. In 2012, they became an Operator II at Mellanox Technologies. In 2016, they joined ICC - A Structured Cabling Solutions Company as a Computer Aided Design Drafter (CAD). In 2018, they began working at Scott Manufacturing Solutions in a variety of roles including Engineering Operations Manager, Industrial Engineer, Project Engineer, Jr. Product Design Engineer, Drafting Supervisor, and Computer Aided Design Drafter II (CAD).

Kevin Lu has been pursuing higher education since 2008. Kevin started at Mt. San Antonio College, where they obtained an Associate's Degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences/Social and Behavioral Sciences in 2014, and an Associate's Degree in Industrial Design Engineering in 2016. Kevin then went on to California State University, Los Angeles, where they received a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Technology in 2022 and is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Industrial Management, which they are expected to complete in 2024. In addition to their academic qualifications, Kevin Lu has obtained a number of certifications, including ASNT NDT Level I - Radiographic Testing (RT), ASNT NDT Level II - Liquid Penetrant Testing (PT), ASNT NDT Level II - Ultrasonic Testing (UT), ASNT NDT Level II - Visual Testing (VT), ASNT NDT Level II - Magnetic Particle Testing (MT), General Industrial Safety and Health, Administering Solidworks PDM Professional Course, Certified Solidworks Professional Advance Sheet Metal - (CSWPA - Sheet Metal), AutoCAD Career Diploma, Certified Solidworks Professional Advance Drawing Tools (CSWPA-Drawing Tools), Certified Solidworks Professional Mechanical Design - (CSWP), Industrial Design Engineering Level 3, Certified Solidworks Associate Mechanical Design - (CSWA), Industrial Design Engineering Level 2, Industrial Design Engineering Level 1, and Master Technician License.
