Scott, Stackrow & Co. CPAs, P.C. has stood side-by-side with hundreds of local businesses of all sizes in our Capital Region community for 35 years, dedicated to their financial health. We believe our role – careful tax planning, preparing tax returns, conducting audits, and providing forensic accounting – contributes to the overall economic strengthening of our regional community, where we, too, work and play.

Our mission is to provide exceptional service to our clients while creating an atmosphere that will promote, support, and reward our staff for making a difference. Nestled at the top of Hoosick Street in Troy, New York in a beautifully landscaped building with private parking, the warm and friendly staff work in a setting of old-world charm with its cherry wood trim and sage accents.

Our firm is staffed with seasoned certified public accountants, and Managing Partner David M. Stackrow, CPA, is well-versed in local industries and one of the most experienced CPAs in the region. We are experienced in all matters of accounting and taxation, IRS problem resolution, estates and trusts, business formation, financial planning and investment, real estate and business sales.

Tax, labor and business laws are changing, and the most businesses can predict is unpredictability. Here at Scott, Stackrow & Co., we stand prepared to do what we do best, so business owners and individuals can focus on what they do best.
