Stuart Schwartz

Stuart Schwartz is an experienced attorney at ScottHulse, P.C. since 1979, specializing in commercial litigation, creditors' rights, bankruptcy and restructuring, international litigation, and collections. With over 37 years at ScottHulse, Schwartz serves as the lead editor of the Texas Collections Manual published by the State Bar of Texas and is one of only two attorneys in Texas board certified in Creditor’s Rights by the American Board of Certification. Schwartz has also held leadership positions, including Chairman of the El Paso International Airport Board and Past President of the Jewish Federation, as well as serving as a County Commissioner for El Paso County, where responsibilities included managing a $250 million budget. Schwartz earned a J.D. from SMU Dedman School of Law and a B.A. in Political Science from Northwestern University.
