Scottish and Newcastle

The UK brewing, sales, pub tenancy and wholesaling operation of Scottish & Newcastle plc was purchased by Heineken in April 2008 with the rest of the global operation being split between Heineken NV and Carlsberg. The UK operation was renamed Heineken UK in Nov 2009.
