Scottish Universities Press (SUP) is an open access publishing platform which is owned and operated by 18 Scottish academic libraries on a not-for-profit basis. SUP aims to provide a clear and cost effective route for researchers to make their work freely available to a global audience, responding to changing funder policies in relation to open access.

SUP will publish monographs and edited collections on any topic which are submitted by researchers working at a member institution. We launched our first call for content in late 2022 and expect to publish our first titles in 2024.
