Mark Thompson

Mark Thompson is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in pension scheme governance and investment management. Currently serving as Trustee of the Prudential Staff Pension Scheme and holding various roles including Chair of Trustees for the M&G Pension Scheme and Executive Chairman of the UBS (UK) Pension & Life Assurance Scheme Investment Committee, Mark has demonstrated expertise in investment strategies for both defined benefit and defined contribution schemes. Previous roles include key positions at Prudential plc, HSBC Pension Scheme, and Zurich Insurance Company, where responsibilities encompassed the management of investment frameworks and external managers. Mark holds an MSc in Economics from The London School of Economics and a BSc in Economics with First Class Honours from Queen Mary College, London University.
