Dylan D’Ascendis

Dylan D'Ascendis is a partner at ScottMadden. Dylan previously worked at Timberline Capital Management, LLC from January 2008 to May 2008, where they provided daily reports and buy / sell recommendations to the Managing Principal. Dylan also created and maintained databases of key financial ratios of financial and banking firms, and monitored and updated portfolio holdings of clients' other investments. From January 2015 to June 2016, they worked at Sussex Economic Advisors, LLC as a Principal, preparing fair rate of return studies including capital structure determination, development of senior capital cost rates, as well as the determination of an appropriate rate of return on equity on behalf of utility companies, including water, natural gas and electric companies. Dylan also assisted in preparing class cost of service, revenue requirements, rate design, lead / lag, and original cost studies, as well as in the preparation of interrogatory responses, interrogatory questions of the opposition, areas of cross-examination and rebuttal testimony. Additionally, they assisted in valuation studies for plant, property, and equipment and also entire operations for possible sale to third parties.

Dylan D’Ascendis received their MBA in finance and international business from Rutgers University - Camden and their BA in economic history from the University of Pennsylvania. Dylan also has a certification from the National Association of Certified Valuators and Analysts as a Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA) and a certification from the Society of Utility Regulatory Financial Analysts as a Certified Rate of Return Analyst (CRRA).
