Michelle Ryan has over two decades of experience in education and consulting. Currently serving as Associate Director and Independent Consultant at Scout & Cellar since February 2018, Michelle also holds a long-standing position as an English Teacher at Lincoln Community High School, starting in August 1998. Prior experience includes roles as a Secondary ELA Scorer at Pearson Education Services from January 2014 to February 2018 and teaching 6th and 7th/8th Grade Language Arts at Central Grade School and Chatham Glenwood Middle School, respectively. Michelle holds a Master of Science in English from Illinois State University, earned between 2005 and 2008, and a Bachelor of Science in English/Language Arts Teacher Education from the same university, completed in 1995.
