Chad Mitchell

Chad Mitchell has extensive experience in the drilling industry, specializing in Measurement While Drilling (MWD) operations and directional drilling. Currently serving as MWD at Scout Drilling Technologies since June 2023, Chad previously held the role of MWD Supervisor at Pro Directional from May 2022 to June 2023. Prior positions include Heavy Equipment Operator at APPALACHIAN STREAM RESTORATION LLC, and Directional Driller at Pro Directional, where responsibilities included precise calculations for drilling operations and utilizing directional drilling software. Chad's career also features leadership roles as MWD Supervisor and Field Crew Chief, with foundational experience as a Field Service/Sales Technician at Pason Systems USA, Inc., and in the United States Army as Section Supervisor and Instructor. Chad holds a high school diploma from Van Sr. High, Van, WV, graduating in 1995 with a GPA of 3.5.
