Yassin Askar

Yassin Askar has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. In 2018, they co-founded Scoutbase and served as the Chief Product Officer. Prior to that, they worked at Tackle as a Partner and Service Designer, helping to create valuable service experiences for clients. Yassin also co-founded Weavenote.com and served as a designer. Yassin has freelanced as a Service Design and UX Researcher from 2014 to 2016. Additionally, Yassin worked as a Service Designer/UX Researcher at FutureGov and as a Designer In Resident at The Sir John Cass Faculty of Art, Architecture and Design, London Metropolitan University. Yassin has also held positions as a Creative Director at by(product) and as a Sustainable Research & Development Consultant at JC Atkinson.

Yassin Askar obtained a Technical certificate in Cabinetmaking and Millwork from Copenhagen Technical College between 2005 and 2008. Later, from 2009 to 2012, they attended The Sir John Cass Faculty of Art, Architecture and Design at London Metropolitan University, where they completed their Bachelor's degree in Product Design.
