Tim Bennett

Executive Director - Commercial Ventures at Scouts Canada

Tim Bennett has a diverse work experience spanning various organizations and roles. Tim currently serves as the Executive Director - Commercial Ventures at Scouts Canada. Tim is also a City Councillor for the City of Prince George, a position they have held since November 2022. Additionally, they serve as a Director at Integris Credit Union.

Earlier in their career, Tim worked as the Executive Director at Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northern BC and held various positions including Program Manager, Community Development Coordinator, and Manager of Events. Tim also served as a Trustee and Board Chair at School District 57 (Prince George), and Vice President and Director at British Columbia School Trustee Association (BCSTA). Tim was involved in organizing the BC Summer Games 2022 in Prince George and served as the Co-Chair of Public Relations. Tim also held positions at Northern Interior Branch - BC School Trustee Association and Volunteer Prince George.

In 2000, Tim founded and led the HEARTS Christmas Dinner, a project that provided an inclusive Christmas dinner experience for seniors living independently.

Tim Bennett obtained a Certificate of Completion in Business Administration and Management, General from Crestcom International in 2015-2016. Tim then attended the University of Fredericton from 2021 to 2023, where they pursued an Executive MBA with a specialization in Social Enterprise Leadership. In 2004, Tim attended the University of Northern British Columbia, although it is unclear whether they completed a degree or field of study at that time. Prior to their university education, Tim Bennett attended DP Todd, but no degree or field of study information is available for this period.
