Blaine Owen is an experienced electrical and controls professional with a career spanning several decades. Currently serving as the Electrical and Controls Lead at Scovan Engineering since February 2013, Blaine has previously held key positions such as Electrical Project Lead at AMEC BDR from 2009 to February 2013, and Lead Electrical Designer at BDR Engineering from 2000 to 2009. Prior to these roles, Blaine worked as a Foreman Electrician at Dorren Electric 1985 LTD from 1985 to 2000. Educationally, Blaine holds a Diploma in Industrial Electronics Technology from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology, completed between 1987 and 1989.
