Adam Fontana

Co-Founder at Screenfluence

Adam Fontana has had a varied career in the tech industry. In 2017, they co-founded Dark Matter. Prior to that, they were a co-founder of Screenfluence from 2014-2017, where they designed and managed the implementation of a cloud-based digital signage infrastructure, and developed initial requirements and goals. From 2013-2014, Adam was an apprentice at IATSE Local 58, where they provided technical labour for live events in the Toronto area, and had experience with large scale rigging, lighting, sound, and video systems, as well as crew management and design work.

Adam Fontana obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Toronto between 2009 and 2013. In addition, they have obtained several certifications, including Working at Heights from the Workers Health & Safety Centre in March 2015, an Aerial Work Platform from Skyjack Inc. in February 2009, a Forklift Class 4, 5 from Battlefield Equipment Rentals in April 2015, a Pyrotechnician from Natural Resources Canada in May 2012, and a Certified Technology Specialist from InfoComm International in April 2014.
