António Leitão

António Leitão has been working in the field of Machine Learning and Data Science since 2010. António began their career as a Research Student and Invited Assistant at the University of Coimbra, followed by an Artificial Intelligence Engineer role at HOKO from 2016 to 2019. In 2019, they took on a Machine Learning Engineer role at WinTrust - Quality Assurance by InnoWave, and then moved to InnoWave in 2020 to become a Lead Data Scientist and Data Scientist. Most recently, in 2022, they became a Lead Machine Learning Engineer at Screenloop.

António Leitão has a comprehensive educational history. In 2005, they obtained a Certificate of Proficiency in English from Cambridge English Language Assessment. António then went on to earn a Bachelor's Degree in Informatics Engineering from Universidade de Coimbra in 2008. Following this, they attended IT-Universitetet i København for Computer Software Engineering. In 2011, they earned a Master's Degree in Informatics Engineering from Universidade de Coimbra, and in 2020 they completed their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Information Science and Technology from the same university. Additionally, they have obtained two certifications from Microsoft: Azure Data Scientist Associate in May 2020, and Azure AI Fundamentals.
