Rodrigo Santos

Rodrigo Santos is a Co-Founder and Head of Engineering at Screenloop. Prior to this, they were a Data Engineer at ClearScore from March 2019 to March 2021. There, they led the planning and delivery of multiple epics often being the point of contact to stakeholders and to descope or reprioritise work in order to ensure the team was delivering value to the business. Rodrigo also represented the team fortnightly on a meeting with tech leads.

Santos also led the design, development, and deployment of a new ingestion pipeline that seamlessly allows analysis of complex data such as credit reports, just using SQL. The system is able to ingest +9M events/hour. Rodrigo grew a T-shaped Engineering team onboarding effectively new team members. Defined a new interviewing process that maximised the interview experience for candidates. Rodrigo also coached team members through pair programming and knowledge sharing presentations. Lastly, they line managed team members, setting up their OKRs, and ensuring 1-1 conversations would happen fornightly.
