Dan Fu

Dan Fu is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in various domains of technology. Currently at Scribd since July 2017, Dan Fu focuses on search relevance and features, coordinating new search functionalities across multiple teams. Prior to Scribd, Dan Fu worked at Google from November 2015 to April 2017, where responsibilities included developing content ads infrastructure and leveraging machine learning for ad asset selection. Earlier roles include software engineering at Aether Things, contributing to music recommendation algorithms for an IoT device, and a significant tenure at Stottler Henke Associates as Group Manager, leading AI research and development for game and educational applications. Dan Fu holds a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Chicago and a BS in Computer Science from Cornell University.
