Eddie Shen

Eddie Shen is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in corporate securities and governance. Currently serving as Deputy General Counsel at Scribd since December 2021, Eddie advises management on various corporate compliance matters and has played a key role in preparing for the company’s initial public offering. Prior to this role, Eddie held significant positions at NetApp as Director of Corporate Legal and at Looker as Director of Legal, Corporate Securities, providing guidance on strategic transactions and drafting essential SEC filings. Additional experience includes consulting for eASIC Corporation during its acquisition by Intel and serving as Director of Corporate Legal Affairs at Brocade, focusing on SEC compliance and corporate governance. Eddie began legal career at Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP and Gunderson Dettmer, specializing in corporate governance and financing transactions. Eddie earned a JD from Boston University School of Law and a BA in Literature from Georgetown University.
