Rodrigo Philander

Rodrigo Philander is an accomplished technology professional with extensive experience in software engineering and architecture. Currently serving as Chief Architect at Scribd since November 2022, Rodrigo is focused on enhancing digital library services. Prior experience includes holding the position of Principal Software Engineer at Capital Group, where leadership was provided for a team of over 20 in greenfield projects related to the ESG Program. Additional roles span consulting for reinforcing tech culture in a large asset management firm, a research engineer position at Order of Magnitude Labs, and leading data engineering at Simply Hired. Notable achievements include technical leadership at Tellme/Microsoft in developing their IVR platform, and system architecture at Avvenu, Inc.
