Yagmur Erten

Yagmur Erten is a seasoned Senior User Experience Researcher with extensive experience across multiple high-profile companies. Currently at Scribd since October 2023, Yagmur focuses on user experience for Scribd and SlideShare products. Previously, Yagmur held a similar role at BuzzFeed from October 2021 to October 2023, where responsibilities included developing the research strategy and overseeing end-to-end research for all products. Earlier experience includes pioneering research at Two Bulls for various industries, leading user research on AI voice interfaces at Amazon, and conducting generative studies for the World Bank Group. Yagmur's career began in different capacities at Uber, Brodeur Partners, Tagazu, and Voice of America. Yagmur holds a Master’s degree in Human-Computer Interaction and Design from the University of Washington and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from American University, along with a Master of Science in Human Computer Interaction from the University of Washington.
