Nir Peleg

Nir Peleg has a diverse work experience in the field of cybersecurity and technology. Nir is currently serving as the VP of Business Development at Scribe Security since June 2022. Prior to that, they worked at BitSight as the VP Country Manager from October 2021 to June 2022.

From June 2018 to October 2021, Nir held the position of VP of Strategic Projects at Toka. In this role, they led cyber capacity-building initiatives and worked with national-level customers, international organizations such as the World Bank and IDB, as well as regulatory agencies and critical infrastructure organizations. Nir was responsible for designing and delivering transformative cybersecurity projects globally, primarily in South America, Africa, and Europe. Additionally, they managed customized R&D projects with leading customers.

Before joining Toka, Nir worked for the Israel National Cyber Directorate where they served as the Executive Director of the R&D Division from October 2012 to November 2017. During this time, they led the research and development efforts in the field of cybersecurity.

Nir's career began in the Israel Defense Forces where they worked from May 2008 to July 2011 as the Head of the Technology Department. In this role, they led the R&D division and managed large-scale multidisciplinary technology projects in mission-critical environments.

Nir Peleg completed their education history with a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev in 1993. Nir then pursued further studies and obtained a Master of Science degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Tel Aviv University between 1995 and 1999. Later, in 2011 and 2012, they engaged in a Master of Public Administration program at both Wexner fellowship and Harvard Kennedy School, specializing in Public Administration.
