John Turver is an accomplished sales director with extensive experience in the broadcast industry, currently serving as the Director of Sales for WPTV, WHDT FL24, and MeTV at The E.W. Scripps Company since May 2019. Previously, John held various leadership roles within Cordillera Communications, including Local Sales Manager, where a focus was placed on strategic planning and revenue initiatives for KSBY-TV and NSBY-TV in San Luis Obispo, CA. Additionally, John has a background as a National/Regional Sales Manager and Senior Account Executive, contributing to strong business growth and client relations within the broadcasting field. Early in John’s career, experience was gained as an Account Executive at Harrington Righter & Parsons Inc., achieving significant market share for numerous client stations. John Turver holds a Bachelor's degree in Communication and Media Studies from the University of South Florida, earned in 2004.
