Mary Minser

Mary Minser, SPHR, currently serves as Vice President of Human Resources for the Newspaper Division at The E. W. Scripps Company since July 2008, overseeing HR services for approximately 3,000 employees across 14 business units, and leading a team of 25 HR business partners. Prior to this role, Mary held various HR leadership positions within The E.W. Scripps Company from May 1988 to January 2008, including Director of Human Resources for the Newspaper and United Media Divisions, where responsibilities included HR service delivery for over 5,800 employees, and Director of Employee Relations, providing HR consultancy to 10,000 employees across multiple operations. Earlier experience includes serving as HR Manager at The Kroger Co. from February 1980 to May 1988, covering manufacturing, retail, and research development. Mary Minser earned a Bachelor’s degree in Human Services from Northern Kentucky University.
