Thomas Strausbaugh

Thomas Strausbaugh is a highly experienced broadcast engineer currently serving as WPXN Chief Broadcast Engineer at The E.W. Scripps Company since January 2018. In addition to this role, Thomas has been the Owner/Operator of Tomcat TV since March 2013. Previously, Thomas held various positions including WPXN Transmitter Engineer at ION Media Networks and Chief Broadcast Engineer at WMBC TV. Thomas's career in engineering began in 2003, with roles at WPMT-FOX43, RF Central, and other companies, demonstrating a strong background in broadcast technology and system integration. Thomas holds a Bachelor of Music in Engineering Technology from the University of Miami and a diploma from Central York High School.
