Beck Bicks has a long and varied work experience. In 2011, Bicks began working at ICM Partners in the Theater Department. That same year, Bicks also took on an Artistic Intern role at Roundabout Theatre Company, where they offered administrative support to the Artistic Director, arranged tickets to company shows for all Tony Award voters, and read submitted scripts, wrote feedback reports and offered criticism. In 2012, Bicks took on a Writer and Content Strategist role at Scripted. In 2013, Bicks became a Co-Founder and Content Specialist at Bespectacled Editor and a Book Reviewer at Kirkus Reviews. In 2014, Bicks began working as a Freelance Photographer at Stock Photography. In 2015, Bicks took on a Content Writer and Copy Editor role at Oz Content Technologies. Finally, in 2019, Bicks became the Founder and Lead Designer at Punch Line Design, where they create hand-designed textiles, clothing, housewares, and gifts with a feminist, body-positive, and irreverent bent. Bicks also manages all customer interactions, payments, marketing, and logistics. In the two years since its inception, Punch Line has become one of the top-performing stores on Etsy, with a conversion rate that is higher than 97% of all other stores on the platform.
Beck Bicks attended St. Mary's Episcopal School and then went on to pursue a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree from Yale University between 2006 and 2010.
