Andrew Lloyd-Smith

Senior Electrical Engineer at ScriptPro

Andrew Lloyd-Smith began their work experience in 2013 as an Electrical Engineering Intern at Scinomix. Andrew was responsible for the design and construction of a prototype pick-and-place test tube labelling machine, as well as the development of tutorials and documentation. In 2015, Andrew joined Black & Veatch as an Electrical Engineer 1, focusing on the design and evaluation of electrical power systems in the water and wastewater industries. Andrew later transitioned to the role of Electrical Engineer 2, where they were responsible for the design of electrical power and process control systems. In 2017, Andrew joined Spear Power Systems as a Senior Electrical Engineer until 2019. During this time, they gained experience in firmware and hardware engineering of robotics systems. Currently, Andrew is working at ScriptPro as a Senior Electrical Engineer, with a focus on the design, assembly, and testing of embedded firmware, circuit schematics, circuit boards, and power systems.

Andrew Lloyd-Smith completed their Bachelor's Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Missouri-Columbia between 2011 and 2015. Andrew then pursued a Master of Science (M.S.) in the same field at the University of Missouri-Kansas City from 2017 to 2020. Additionally, Andrew obtained the title of E.I.T. from NCEES in May 2015 and received an Extra Class Ham Radio License from FEC in July 2013.
