George Barhoum

George Barhoum has a diverse range of experience in various industries. George first worked as a Service Advisor at IMPEX from January 2014 to March 2015, and then at A&L Kroumian from March 2015 to May 2016 in the same role. George then transitioned to maintenance engineering, working as a Maintenance Engineer at Nicolas Srouji Establishment for Contracting from May 2016 to October 2016. Following this, they worked as a Vehicle Dynamics Engineer at Danisi Engineering S.r.l. from April 2017 to December 2017. George briefly served as a Logistics Coordinator - Remote at Caritas Lebanon from August 2017 to December 2017. Moving on, they worked as an Industrial Maintenance Engineer at Daher Foods from February 2018 to December 2018. In October 2018, they began working at UNDP as an Associate Lecturer, where they developed and delivered teaching materials until October 2019. Since 2019, they have been self-employed as an industrial maintenance consultant and has worked as a QA Analyst and IoT Automation Consultant at Scriptr.io. In May 2022, they joined Odeko as a QA Engineer, where they worked until December 2022.

George Barhoum completed a Master of Engineering (MEng) in Design and Development of vehicle dynamics from Università di Pavia from 2016 to 2018. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Lebanese International University from 2012 to 2016. During their high school years from 1998 to 2012, they attended Antonine Sisters School where they obtained an end of studies degree/Lebanese baccalauréat General sciences (SG).

In terms of additional certifications, George completed a short technical course in Electrical/Alternative Energy from Bavarian International School gAG in 2018, a certificate in Programmable logic controller (PLC) from Bfz in 2019, and a full stack web development program in IOT/Coding from SE factory from 2020 to 2021. George also obtained a certificate in Robotics from Digital Opportunity Trust (DOT) in 2020, where they also completed training in Robotics programming and assembly. Additionally, they have certifications in Certified PLC programmer & installer from Berufliche Fortbildungszentren der Bayerischen Wirtschaft (bfz) gGmbH in 2019 and Photovoltaic Installation Professional from Berufliche Fortbildungszentren der Bayerischen Wirtschaft (bfz) gGmbH in 2018. Lastly, they received training in Standard and Advanced Driving Techniques & Advanced and ISO Maneuvers for Vehicle Dynamics Assessment from ASC - Gruppo Editoriale Domus in 2016 at Autodromo di Vairano di Vidigulfo, Italy.
