Frank Kwizera

Frank Kwizera has worked in the software engineering field since 2016. In that year, they began a Software Engineer Internship at Great Lakes Energy, Ltd, where they contributed to the development of the Sesh Dashboard Beta, a platform that monitored real-time metrics for solar panels installed in remote areas by Great Lakes Energy Rwanda. In 2018, they became a Co-Founder and Software Engineer at Nexin Ltd. From 2019 to 2022, they were a Software Engineer at Insightiv Technologies, where they were responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of several advanced technology platforms. Frank led a team of engineers in the design and development of a tele-radiology platform powered by artificial intelligence, featuring capabilities such as DICOM image processing and visualization, PACS integration, external DICOM viewer integration, multi-region cloud deployments, and data anonymization. Additionally, they designed, developed, and maintained deeployd, Insightiv's internal platform that enables machine learning engineers and data scientists to deploy machine learning models and interact with them through dynamically generated REST APIs. Currently, they are a Software Engineer at ScriptSender.

Frank Kwizera obtained their Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of Rwanda in 2020. Prior to this, they attended Lycee de Kigali from 2013 to 2015, studying Mathematics, Physics, and Computer Science. Frank also obtained a Nanodegree in Programming for Data Science for Enterprise from Udacity in November 2019.
