Andrzej Rybczak

Andrzej Rybczak has over 10 years of experience in software development. Andrzej started their career in 2011 as a Software Developer at Scrive, where they primarily used Haskell and SQL to develop the backend application of Scrive's web-based e-signing solution. During their time at Scrive, they designed a Haskell framework for automatic migration and validation of the PostgreSQL database schema and migrated the system to Haskell bindings to libpqtypes. In 2016, they joined Well-Typed LLP as a Haskell Consultant, where they helped clients solve problems using Haskell. Some of their notable accomplishments include implementing support for safe concurrent access to the package database cache in GHC and designing Haskell bindings to mcl, a pairing-based cryptography library, which they used to implement the pairing version of the SCRAPE protocol. Since 2018, they have been working as a Lead Developer at Scrive, where they are responsible for leading the development team.
