Mohammad Jahanara

Senior Protocol Researcher

Mohammad Jahanara is a researcher specializing in privacy and security, mechanism design, and cryptography. They served as a Graduate Research Assistant at Simon Fraser University from 2019 to 2021, where they designed differentially private machine learning algorithms and published their findings in the Journal of Privacy and Confidentiality. They are currently a Senior Protocol Researcher at Scroll and have previously worked as a Blockchain Engineer at Aquanow, where they developed an MEV elimination scheme and secured a grant from the Ethereum Foundation. Additionally, they lectured on Algorithms and Data Structures at Simon Fraser University in the spring of 2023. Mohammad holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from Sharif University of Technology and a Master of Science in Computer Science from Simon Fraser University.
