Can Semercioglu

Can Semercioglu serves as Framework and Community Manager at Ashoka Türkiye since October 2023, developing and managing the organization's communication and community strategy. In addition, Can Semercioglu is a Communications Consultant at Scrolli and Vice President at İklim İletişimi Derneği, advocating for climate communication. Previously, Can was Head of Communications at Teyit, where responsibilities included managing communication assets and leading the communications team. Can also founded Monokrom, a successful newsletter that attracted 2000 subscribers in its first month, and held positions at Zarakol İletişim, Greenpeace Akdeniz - Türkiye, Diken, Mesele Dergisi, and BirGün Gazetesi in various editorial and communication roles. Can holds a Master of Arts in Cultural Studies from Istanbul Bilgi University and is pursuing a PhD in Comparative Literature and Literary Theory at the University of Ljubljana. A Bachelor's degree in Sociology was earned from Istanbul University.
