Scrufy PC was established in 2021 as a spin-out company of IKnowHow SA with the sole purpose to commercially exploit the BlueBOT innovation. BlueBOT is the only self-navigating grooming system that is used for biofouling inspection and grooming of ship hulls. 
BlueBOT tackles two enormous environmental issues at the same time: a) large scale GHG emissions reduction in the maritime sector, while generating financial benefits for the ship management companies and b) protect biodiversity from Alien Invasive Species by eliminate biofouling as an effective factor.
